Kim Kardashian shuts down North West’s TikTok following the dyslexia revelation.
Kim Kardashian recently talked up about the difficulties of raising a child with a learning disability, following her daughter North West’s public announcement that she has dyslexia.
In an Instagram Story, the reality star shared a video of her friend Lauren Sánchez appearing on The View about her children’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, in which Sánchez recounted her own childhood dyslexia growing up.
Kim utilized the opportunity to provide support to other parents facing similar issues, stating, “I’m reposting this not because she’s my friend and I love her, but because every mom who has struggled with their kids with dyslexia or any learning difference needs to hear that it will be okay.”
North, 11, has over 19 million TikTok followers. She originally revealed her illness in a livestream last year, telling viewers: “Guys, I have dyslexia.” “Do you even know what that is?”
Her 11-year-old revealed that she has dyslexia. Kim interrupted, saying, “Northie, you sure are spilling the tea on here,” before gently asking her to end the stream, adding, “You are just saying way too much. I purposely don’t talk about stuff that you are going through.”
North, whose father is artist Kanye West, has also spoken openly about her future plans.
Despite her young age, she is already considering following in her famous parents’ entrepreneurial footsteps.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians actress claimed that North hopes to one day own both the Yeezy and Skims brands.
