Madonna’s son is learning to be independent.

David Banda has openly admitted to “scavenging” for food in New York City since moving out of the pop star’s luxury Upper East Side residence.

He mentioned it on Instagram Live: “It’s lovely to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to get food and scavenging.”

“It’s fun to be young.”

Banda, 18, lives in the Bronx and has been teaching guitar to make additional money, despite Madonna’s estimated net worth of $850 million.

“I  love it. He said, I’m not on my own, I’ve got my girlfriend, Maria Atuesta.” “But I love it.”

The kid also revealed that the 65-year-old “A League of Their Own” actress has been seeing Jamaican-born footballer Akeem Morris since her split with Josh Popper.

The exact moment of Banda’s departure from Madonna’s home is unknown, although he was with her during her scary health crisis last year when she was hospitalized in the ICU.

After returning home more than a week and a half later, the Queen of Pop expressed appreciation for her survival after a dangerous bacterial infection.
