Miley Cyrus recently gave fans an early look at David Letterman’s new show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
The Flowers hitmaker shared a clip from David’s show on Instagram on Wednesday, showing her chatting with the host of the show.
Miley was heard in the video stating, “I am going to introduce you,” not “you are going to introduce me.”
She announced, “David Letterman is here,” to which the audience applauded as she said his name.
“David Letterman asks me to be on his show, but I like to do things my way,” Miley said.
“I then turn it around on him and say you could be on my show,” she stated.
It’s my show, Miley said. How extra can I be in this round, then?
She joked in the end, “Like extra as I can.”
The singer and actress captioned the photo, “Tune in on Netflix for My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.” Miley thought back during her discussion on her family, especially her mother Tish, and father Billy Ray.
Miley said, “I mean, honestly, my mom is my hero,” in answer to David’s query about her dad being her idol.
She went on, “My father… I’m appreciative of the opportunity to observe him before me.
“He’s almost handed me this map, and it’s a map of what to do and what not to do, and he’s guided me on both,” she said.
