Zendaya and Holland have mostly kept their personal life out of the spotlight.
In July 2021, a video of Zendaya and Tom Holland kissing in a car surfaced, making their relationship public. More than three years later, a source tells Us Weekly that the couple’s relationship is still “rock solid,” thanks in large part to their great friendship.
The insider said, “These two are the real deal. They started as besties, and that’s [why] their relationship is rock solid.
The source said, “They’re each other’s biggest supporters. They ‘get’ each other.
Their family are also highly supportive of the partnership. The insider stated, “Their families are all in [on their relationship].”
“[They] think they’re perfect together.”
Zendaya and Holland have kept their personal lives out of the spotlight, but they openly support one another’s talents. Zendaya told ELLE last summer that she tries to respect their privacy while also acknowledging the public’ interest in their relationship.
She elaborated: “Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public.”
“I can’t not be a human while still living my life and loving the person I love. But I also have control over what I disclose. It’s about keeping the peace and making your own decisions, while yet not being frightened to exist. You cannot hide. That is not fun either. I’m navigating it more than ever now.”
Despite their efforts to keep their relationship discreet, Zendaya occasionally compliments Holland in interviews without being asked. She became viral this winter during a Buzzfeed interview when asked which member of the Dune: Part Two ensemble has the most charisma. After jokingly stating it was herself, she nodded at her lover.
“Rizz is short for charisma, right? “Everybody’s got their own,” she explained.
“I believe Mr. Tom Holland is someone with beautiful charm who, while not on the Dune cast, I know personally works for me. I’m more shy and quiet, therefore it takes a little more to get me out of my shell. But he’s really good at just chatting to people and getting to know them. You can see him on chat shows and such. He has a natural talent for it. Whereas I’ve got to draw it out of myself a little bit. He has a natural gift.”
